Tyler Spencer
Tyler Spencer, 22, died on March 25, 2024, at the Maximum Security Unit in Tucker, Arkansas, a state prison run by the Arkansas Department of Corrections. The department says he was found hanging in his single-person cell at about 10:15 a.m. and was pronounced dead at 10:47 a.m. The department describes the death as a suspected suicide and says officers had spoken with him about 30 minutes earlier and that he showed no sign he planned to harm himself. The Arkansas State Police is investigating, and the Division of Correction is conducting an internal review.
