Tyler Ashpaugh
Tyler Ashpaugh died on January 27, 2023, while held at Louisiana State Penitentiary in West Feliciana Parish. The Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his single-man cell that morning and was later pronounced dead at the prison infirmary. The department said it has opened an investigation and that an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death, which has not yet been determined.
