Turqoise Williams, 30, of Newark, died on October 22, 2017 while held at the Essex County Correctional Facility. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office confirmed the death and said the cause and manner are pending a medical examiner's report. The office declined to say whether the death was suspicious while the autopsy results are awaited.
