Troy Wright, 45, was found dead at Lower Buckeye Jail in Phoenix over the weekend around July 4, 2026, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. He had been held there only days before he died. He was reported as the fourth person to die at the jail in about two weeks. The sheriff's office said his cause of death is under investigation and that no cause or manner has been established, pending autopsy.
