Trenidad Castilleja
Trenidad Castilleja, 48, died on March 14, 2026, while held at the San Luis Obispo County jail in California. County officials said he had a medical emergency as medications were being dispensed. They said jail staff started life-saving measures before paramedics took over, and he was later pronounced dead. The cause and manner of his death are still under investigation.
