Trea Ellinger
Trea Ellinger, 29, of Glen Burnie, died on July 26, 2023 in Baltimore after a medical crisis. The Independent Investigations Division report describes police and medics restraining him in the street and then in an ambulance, where medics gave him a sedative. According to the report, he was left lying prone for about eight minutes while officers in the ambulance suggested he be moved onto his side. He regained a pulse but died hours later at a hospital, and the Office of Chief Medical Examiner attributed his death to mixed drug intoxication and classed the manner as undetermined.
