Travis Hollis died on July 8, 2025. His parent said he hated fentanyl and that the family had already lost his mother to it in 2021. The parent said he died of a fentanyl overdose and spoke about it at a corrections townhall in Lebanon, Tennessee, where families described relatives who died while held in state custody.
