Travis Brandon
Travis Brandon, 38, of Columbus, was reported to have died by suicide on August 23, 2020, while held at the Delaware County Jail about five days after he was placed there. The jail said staff had screened him for self-harm risk before his death and that he had passed the screening. Weeks later, a second death by suicide in the same manner occurred at the jail, and the jail afterward replaced ventilation grates that people had used to harm themselves.
