Travis Banks
Travis Banks, 32, was born in Guntersville and lived there most of his life. His family describes him as very loving and someone who never met a stranger, and he left three children and a large circle of family and friends. He became unresponsive at the Guntersville City Jail and died at Marshall Medical Center North. His family says they learned of his death from a family friend rather than from police and have received little information since, and their attorney, Richard Rice, is involved. Police officials say they are waiting for toxicology reports and an investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
