Tramon Lane, 29, died on July 16, 2022, after a medical emergency while he was being processed into the Virginia Beach Correctional Center. The Virginia Beach sheriff's office said he was taken to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said no foul play is suspected, and the cause and manner of death are pending with the medical examiner in Norfolk.
