Torrey Wayne Forrester
Torrey Forrester, 42, was held at Washington State Prison in Davisboro, Georgia, when he died on July 1, 2024. According to WRDW, he was found lying on the floor of his cell on the afternoon of that Monday and taken to medical staff, who called emergency crews. The Georgia Department of Corrections says his death is undetermined, that there were no reports of an altercation or delayed response, and that the body was sent to the GBI crime lab to establish the cause, with its Office of Professional Standards investigating.
