Tori Brianne Huggins
Tori Brianne Huggins, a woman from Quitman, died on March 21, 2024, while held at the Wood County Jail in Texas. According to a state custodial death report cited by KLTV, she was found unresponsive in a padded cell around 5 a.m. and was pronounced dead at a hospital about an hour later. The report, based on autopsy results, says she likely died from a cardiac arrhythmia and had several heart conditions. The Texas Rangers were brought in to investigate, as state law requires.
