Tony Edward Long
Tony Edward Long, 36, died on August 3, 2017, while held at the Brunswick County Detention Center in North Carolina. The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his cell that Thursday morning, and that detention medical staff gave him first aid before attempts to revive him failed. The sheriff's Office of Professional Standards reported finding no evidence of foul play or suicide. An autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death.
