Tommy Powell
Tommy Powell, 58, was held at William Donaldson Correctional Facility in Alabama. He was moved from the prison infirmary to UAB Hospital in Birmingham on October 12, 2023 because of declining health, and died there the next day. Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said the cause was a declining health condition, and an autopsy found no signs of trauma or foul play. The coroner's office was still trying to locate his next of kin, and authorities believed he may have family in Huntsville.
