Tommy Francise
Tommy Francise, 63, died of cancer on December 1, 2018, while held awaiting trial at a correctional facility in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. His family visited him several times before his death, and his attorney said he kept asking about his case until his last week. Earlier in 2018 his attorney asked a judge to release him because he was too sick to remain in custody, and that request was denied. The attorney said he received good care through his final days.
