Tom Searcy
Tom Searcy was a 20-year-old Black man who was in the custody of an officer in Haywood County, Tennessee. According to a brief wire report published in May 1904, a mob took him from the officer and killed him in a remote part of the county. Reports printed in early May 1904 said his body had not yet been found.
