Tom Poof

Tom Poof was held in the jail at Trenton, Georgia, when a group of men took him out and hanged him on the public square, according to a dispatch dated March 11, 1888. The death is dated March 10, 1888. The Los Angeles Daily Herald account names no one involved in the hanging. Another report describes a mob at the Trenton jail that hanged a man.
