Tom Brooks
Tom Brooks was in the custody of the sheriff at Janesville, Tennessee, in May 1915. A short item in the Hopkinsville Kentuckian, published May 4, 1915, reports that a mob took him from the sheriff and hanged him. The death is recorded as a lynching from custody.
