Todd S. Morgan
Todd S. Morgan, 57, died on October 23, 2025, in a recreation yard at Salinas Valley State Prison in Soledad, California, where the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says three other incarcerated men attacked him with what appeared to be improvised weapons. The department says the three men were moved to restricted housing and that the death is being investigated as a homicide. He was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. The Monterey County Coroner will determine the official cause of death. A Los Angeles Times report, citing a law enforcement source, said the motive is unclear and that authorities had not known he was in bad standing with others in his group.
