Timothy Walters, 61, died on February 2, 2021, while held at South Mississippi Correctional Institution in Greene County, Mississippi. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said he was pronounced dead at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy, to be determined by local coroners.
