Timothy Sellers
Timothy Sellers, 29, of Streator, died on August 11, 2025, after he was found unresponsive in his cell at the LaSalle County Jail in Ottawa during routine checks on August 7. Jail staff gave first aid, and he was flown to a hospital, where he died four days later. The LaSalle County Sheriff's Office said his injuries relate to an apparent self-asphyxiation, but the manner of death is pending, and the Illinois State Police are investigating.
