Timothy Scott Towne
Timothy Scott Towne, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died on December 19, 2024, while held at the Linn County Correctional Center. The Linn County Sheriff's Office said he had an extensive medical history. His body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, and the cause and manner of death have not been determined. The death was reported to the state jail inspector.
