Timothy Sarver escaped from the Sullivan County Jail in Blountville, Tennessee, along with two other people. On February 5, 2022, Timothy Sarver died in a crash in Brunswick County, North Carolina, after a multi-agency police chase, according to a spokeswoman for the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
