Timothy Marcum
Timothy Marcum, 28, was held at the Boone County Detention Center work camp in Burlington, Kentucky. Jailers found his body on his bunk in the early morning of October 16, 2016. The Boone County Sheriff's Office said he died of a carfentanil overdose, and investigators said the drugs had been smuggled into the facility. Testimony at a later trial repeated that account.
