Timothy Brokes Jr., 37, of Hannibal, died on May 17, 2018, while held at the Marion County jail in Palmyra, Missouri. Sheriff Jimmy Shinn said he died by hanging and that the report indicates he apparently killed himself. Corrections officers attempted to resuscitate him without success, according to the account.
