Timmothy Elwin Wright
Timmothy Elwin Wright, 46, was held at the Duval County jail in Jacksonville while awaiting transfer to a mental health treatment facility. He was found unresponsive in his cell on the morning of July 23, 2024, and was pronounced dead just after 6 a.m. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said there were no signs of force or known physical altercations. The Medical Examiner's Office is reviewing the cause of death, which has not yet been determined.
