Thomas Potts
Thomas Potts, 71, died on February 5, 2020, at an outside hospital while he was held on death row at San Quentin State Prison in California. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he was pronounced dead in the early morning and that foul play was not suspected. The department first said the cause of death was unknown pending an autopsy, and later told The Mercury News that it concluded the death was from natural causes.
