Thomas Francis Edwards
Thomas Francis Edwards, 65, died on February 14, 2009, at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville, where he had been moved in December 2008 for hospice care after more than 22 years at San Quentin State Prison. His former public defender said he had lung cancer and was in a lot of pain in his last years. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, speaking through Lt. Sam Robinson, said he died of natural causes.
