Thomas Acee
Thomas Acee, 21, was the son of FBI agent Bryan Acee, as the Albuquerque Journal described. He died on July 23, 2025, while held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. According to an autopsy obtained by the Albuquerque Journal, he died of the toxic effects of methadone that he ingested after it was provided by staff to another person, and he had not been prescribed methadone. The autopsy lists the manner of death as accidental. The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office and the jail's Office of Professional Standards are investigating how the methadone was obtained.
