Thayer Joseph Burton
Thayer Joseph Burton, 27, was held at the Northern Nevada Correctional Facility in Carson City, Nevada. The Nevada Department of Corrections, through spokeswoman Brooke Santina, said that on May 15, 2018, he was attacked and stabbed in a housing unit hallway by another person held at the prison, using a weapon the department described as prison-made. The department said he was pronounced dead on scene. A state mortality list covering his death gives no cause of death for him.
