Terry Wayne Stewart
Terry Wayne Stewart died on March 11, 2022, while held at the Dallas County Jail in Texas. According to a jailer's incident report cited by the Dallas Observer, he was on suicide watch in a solitary cell, and staff were unaware of the emergency until another person held at the jail alerted them; he was found lying in a pool of blood. The Observer reported that it is unclear what he used to cause so much bleeding or how he did it, and the sheriff's office did not respond to requests for comment. The Texas Attorney General's custodial death report lists his death at the jail on that date.
