Terry Terrell Pettiway
Terry Terrell Pettiway, a Black man aged 29, was found with a stab wound at St. Clair Correctional Facility in Springville, Alabama, on a Sunday evening in early September 2018, the Alabama Department of Corrections said. He died at a hospital. The department classified his death as a homicide and said investigators had identified another person held at the prison as a suspect.
