Died in prison
Terry Berry
Terry Berry, 22, was held at Tecumseh State Correctional Institution in Nebraska when he died in April 2017. His cellmate, Patrick Schroeder, told investigators that he strangled Berry because Berry kept talking. The Nebraska Supreme Court issued a ruling on an appeal in the case in September 2020.
Cause of death, as reported: Killed by another person in custody. Patrick Schroeder, the cellmate, told investigators he strangled Berry.
