Terry A. Hart
Terry A. Hart, 52, of South Elgin, died on August 23, 2013, while held at the Kane County Jail in St. Charles, Illinois. The Kane County Coroner's Office has said Hart died by asphyxiation by hanging in a cell, and the Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Office are investigating. Officers performed CPR before an ambulance took Hart to Delnor Hospital in Geneva, where Hart was pronounced dead just after 5 p.m. A Patch report said Hart had threatened suicide more than a year before the death, and the report raises whether that threat was acted on.
