Tera Anne Harris
Tera Anne Harris, 51, died on October 26, 2023, while held at the downtown Multnomah County jail in Portland, Oregon. The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said she was found unresponsive in her cell that afternoon, and that jail staff gave medical aid until paramedics arrived and pronounced her dead. The East County Major Crimes Team is investigating her death, and the cause and manner have not yet been determined. Her death was the seventh at Multnomah County jails in 2023, all since May, according to the sheriff's office's own summary.
