Taylor Lee Olson
Taylor Lee Olson was held in a cell at the Knox County jail, where he died on the night of March 24, 2008. He hanged himself with a sheet tied to a towel rack in the cell. Before his death he wrote handwritten letters naming another man, and prosecutors said there was no forensic evidence to bring a case against that man. His former lawyer says Taylor consistently maintained that he was not responsible for the matter that led to his detention.
