Tammie Castro
Tammie Castro, 54, was held at the Falkenburg Road Jail in Tampa, Florida, and a sheriff's spokesman said she had major chronic health problems both before and during her time there. Early one morning, jail staff called paramedics to the infirmary, where she became unresponsive within a minute. She was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office believes she died of natural causes, but the Medical Examiner had not yet determined the cause of death.
