Tambrala Smith
Tambrala Smith, 53, was from Helena, Alabama. She was taken to the Birmingham City Jail on a Monday night in August 2023, and around 10 p.m. the next evening she was found unresponsive in her cell, and she died. Birmingham police said they saw no signs of foul play and asked the State Bureau of Investigation to help look into her death. The cause of her death was not made public.
