Tamatha Ausborn
Tamatha Ausborn, 46, of Toccoa, died on August 5, 2024, while held at the Stephens County Jail in Georgia. According to a Stephens County Sheriff's Office press release, the person lost consciousness and went into cardiac arrest, and jail staff and a nurse attempted CPR and used an AED. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating, and the sheriff's office lists cardiac arrest as the cause pending an autopsy.
