Taberon Davie Honie was put to death by lethal injection in August 2025 at a state prison in Utah. A KSL report published in July 2025 described the execution as the eighth in Utah since the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated the death penalty in 1977. The report also placed it as the state's most recent execution ahead of planned firing-squad preparations.
