T. Ceasar Sheffield
T. Ceasar Sheffield was held at the Lake Park jail near Valdosta, Georgia, in April 1915. According to a news dispatch from Valdosta published April 18, 1915, a mob forced the jail door late one night, took Sheffield from custody, and shot Sheffield to death. The dispatch reports that no one was present when the mob forced the door.
