T. B. Walker
T. B. Walker was hanged on the gallows in Washington, Georgia, in December 1911, a few hours after he was shot in the face in the courtroom by a relative of a man who had been killed. The State-Line Herald and The Madison Daily Leader both report that the shooting came as the court was in session. Both accounts say he was not seriously hurt and that the court proceedings were briefly halted. Neither account reports any objection to the execution.
