Suka K. Suka, 33, of Vancouver, was held at the Clark County Jail. After an apparent suicide attempt at the jail, he was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where, according to a Clark County Sheriff's Office bulletin, he broke a window of his seventh-floor hospital room and jumped, dying early on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. The sheriff's office said a custody officer guarding him tried unsuccessfully to stop him.
