Stone
Stone was held in a cell at the Washington jail in the District of Columbia, a cell the source says was later used for Guiteau. The Chicago Daily Tribune, reporting in September 1881, said Stone had been executed about a year earlier. The execution is recorded here as a judicial execution carried out by the state while he was in custody.
