Steven Ray Thacker was executed by lethal injection at the state penitentiary in McAlester on Monday, March 11, 2013. He had waived his right to a clemency hearing, and KTUL reported that family members of the victims attended the execution. About 30 days before the execution, he had been brought back to Oklahoma from Tennessee.
