Steven L. Anderson died on June 15, 2019, while held at the Haynesville Correctional Center, a state prison in Richmond County, Virginia. His death came on a day of suspected overdoses at the prison, and seven other people needed hospital treatment, with six released from the hospital by the next day and one still hospitalized, according to WDBJ7.
