Steven Allen

Steven Allen was hanged in Oxford, Mississippi, in July 1889 in an execution carried out by the state. The American Citizen reported that his neck was broken by the fall. The Iola Register, published July 5, 1889, described the hanging as having taken place 'the other day'.
