Stephon Martin
Stephon Martin, 50, had worked for the Baltimore City Department of Public Works for many years, since at least 1998. His attorney, Howard Miliman, described him as a great guy who was easygoing, and said he should have been released on home detention or bail. Martin died on March 28, 2024 at the Baltimore Central Booking & Intake Center, where he was being held before trial. The autopsy results were still pending at the time of reporting, so the cause and manner of his death were not yet established.
