Stephen Bryant, 44, was held at Broad River Correctional Institution in South Carolina, where WPDE reported he was executed by firing squad on November 14, 2025. His attorneys filed final appeals and asked for clemency, but Governor Henry McMaster declined to intervene. WPDE reported that he was the 50th person put to death in South Carolina since capital punishment was reinstated in 1976.
