Stephen Bryant, 44, was executed by firing squad at Broad River Correctional Institution in South Carolina on November 14, 2025, the 50th person put to death in the state since capital punishment was reinstated in 1976. His attorneys filed final appeals and asked for clemency. Governor Henry McMaster declined to intervene.
